Dr. Yasser Talal M. Matbouli

Yasser T. Matbouli is an assistant professor of systems design engineering in the department of industrial engineering--Rabigh at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He received his BASc. degree in industrial engineering (2007) from King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, MEng degree in civil engineering (2011) from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, and PhD in systems design engineering (2015) from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. His interdisciplinary research interest includes developing intelligent systems approaches to solve problems at the interface of society, industry, and the environment. He has published more than 18 conference and journal papers in multidisciplinary areas such as game theory applications in energy conflicts and fuzzy logic approaches in human health risk assessment and management. He is currently a member of INFORMS Section on Group Decision and Negotiation and a technical committee member of IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics (SMC) Society.
